Sustainable Merton’s The Wheel Repair Café

We’re delighted to welcome back our community partners Sustainable Merton for a hands-on event at Wimbledon Quarter this Sustainable September.

On Sunday 21st September between 1pm – 4pm, bring along your broken or well-worn items and give them a new lease of life with the help of skilled volunteers. From clothing and textiles to small appliances, ‘The Wheel’ Repair Café is all about reducing waste, saving money, and sharing practical skills with the community.

What is a Repair Café?

Repair Cafés are free meeting places where people come together to repair everyday items. Skilled fixers are on hand to show you how it’s done – helping to extend the life of your belongings while cutting down on unnecessary waste.

Why Visit?

  • Fix & Learn: Don’t throw it away – repair it and pick up new skills.
  • Save & Sustain: Reduce waste, save money, and cut down your carbon footprint.
  • Community Spirit: Meet like-minded locals and be part of a growing movement for change.

If you’d like to join and bring your broken or well-used items in for some TLC, RSVP to The Wheel’s website below.
