Taste of The Rooftop Farm Returns
Following a hugely successful event earlier in the year, The Rooftop Farm is back with our next event.
Hosted in The Fire Station Café, this summer special celebrates the flavours of our urban farm through a tasting experience from some of our favourite local chefs, each showcasing ingredients grown right here on our rooftop.

Guests will be welcomed to The Fire Station Cafe with a cocktail (or mocktail) made using honey from our rooftop hives, before hearing from our special guests and even tasting a few bites which have been crafted using produce grown on the farm.
Throughout the evening, you’ll be taken up to The Rooftop Farm in small groups for a guided tour of our ‘Mushroom Lab’ and ‘Urban Farm’.
Our farmers will be on hand to explain how our operation works, what we’re growing (now and coming up!), a few of our plans for the future and to answer any questions you may have.
Our special guests will be announced very shortly but include chefs from local businesses – our last event included food from Thrift Bakery, The Bingham Riverhouse and Lula’s Patties.
Our beekeeper Barnaby will also attend to speak about our 180,000 resident bees.
We’ll also be serving up additional drinks from Wimbledon Brewery, a fellow local Wimbledon-based business, which can be purchased from The Fire Station Cafe.
Every guest will receive a tote bag from The Rooftop Farm and a jar of our honey (retail value £11).
This event will be held from 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday 13th August 2025.
Please note that the farm is located on the roof of Wimbledon Quarter and access is via a metal staircase. Therefore, with much regret, the event won’t be suitable for all.
Due to the nature of the event, unfortunately we are unable to cater for allergies.
The event is suitable for those aged 15 and above.
Guests are subject to change based on availability.
