Wimbledon Quarter Ice Skating T&Cs 2025

 ICE SKATING WAIVER  

This ice skating waiver (the “Ice Skating Waiver”) confirms the terms which apply to participation in the Ice Skating at Wimbledon Quarter 2025 (the “Ice Skating”).

By participating in the Ice Skating, you, the participant, (“Participant”, “you,” “yours”) shall be deemed to have accepted the terms of this Ice Skating Waiver and shall be bound by them. All Participants must comply with the terms of this Ice Skating Waiver at all times when on the ice rink (“Ice Rink”), regardless of whether or not Participant purchased the tickets.

The terms of this Ice Skating Waiver apply in addition to all other applicable terms, including the Wimbledon Quarter Ice Rink Terms & Conditions.  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  1. ROMULUS HOLDINGS LIMITED, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number: 03853181 and with its registered office address at Sandford House, 10 Maynard Close, London, SW6 2DB (“Romulus”, “we”, “us”, “ours”) is sponsoring, producing, directing, organizing, or running the Ice Skating. By taking part in the Ice Skating, Participant agrees to the terms and conditions set out in this Ice Skating Waiver and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, assumes all risks of taking part by agreeing to this Ice Skating Waiver. 
  1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Ice Skating carries with it risks that we cannot entirely eliminate. Romulus has made no representation to Participant as to the suitability, condition or safety of the Ice Skating or Ice Rink and Participant acknowledges and agrees that taking part in the Ice Skating may involve risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury and/or property loss or damage. These may result from Participant’s own actions or inactions, as well as the actions or inactions of others, the condition of the facilities, Ice Rink, environment and/or any equipment provided by or on behalf of Romulus or Participant. Participant further acknowledges and agrees that there may be other unknown and unforeseeable risks. Participant confirms that it has considered the nature and extent of the risks involved and by participating in the Ice Skating, Participant voluntarily chooses to assume all risks involved in the Ice Skating, both known and unknown. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by Romulus, participation in the Ice Skating is entirely at Participant’s risk. 
  1. ICE SKATING RULES. All Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult on the Ice Rink at all times. Participant agrees to follow any health and safety instructions provided by Romulus staff or any third party involved in the delivery of the Ice Skating. Participant shall: (i) act responsibly and safely at all times; (ii) not participate in the Ice Skating if Participant is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication which would prevent them from safely participating in the Ice Skating; and (iii) follow any safety warnings or instructions displayed or given by a member of staff.  
  1. RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. Participant releases and discharges Romulus and its parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, successors, assigns, and insurers, and Ice Skating sponsors, organizers, advertisers, volunteers, and staff, and all owners or lessors of premises used in connection with the Ice Skating (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, claims, causes of action, costs, losses, damages or proceedings whatsoever arising out of or in connection with my participation in or attendance at the Ice Skating (save for Participant’s death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the extent such cannot be excluded by applicable law). 
  1. MEDICAL FITNESS. Participant confirms that Participant is physically and medically fit enough to participate in the Ice Skating and Participant does not know of any reason why Participant should not participate in the Ice Skating. If Participant has any medical or other condition which may present a risk to their health by participating, Participant should seek medical advice in advance, and shall follow all medical advice in relation to their participation. Participant accepts that Participant has a duty to participate in a manner which is as safe as reasonably possible and, in particular, to abide by the rules of the Ice Rink displayed on or around the Ice Rink, adhere to the safety information and instructions provided, take reasonable care to avoid dangerous situations and to look after both Participant’s own health and the health of other participants. Participant also understands that the consequences of Participant’s failure to comply with such rules might include ejection from the Ice Skating by a member of staff. Participant confirms that Participant possesses the requisite degree of skill, fitness and stamina that the Ice Skating requires.  
  1. EQUIPMENT. Participant accepts that ice skates or any other equipment provided by Romulus will be provided on an as-is basis. Participant is responsible for using equipment safely and as directed. Participant acknowledges and agrees that Participant is responsible for providing and shall at all times while participating in the Ice Skating, wear Participant’s own appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment. Romulus assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury caused to Participant due to such failure or refusal to use protective equipment. Participant acknowledges and agrees that where Participant has been instructed to wear personal protective equipment and does not comply, Romulus may determine (at its sole discretion) whether Participant may participate in the Ice Skating.  
  1. EJECTION FROM ICE SKATING. Participant acknowledges and agrees that Romulus can at any time refuse to allow Participant to take part, or cease Participant’s participation in the Ice Skating if Participant does not comply with this Ice Skating Waiver or with the instructions of Romulus representatives at the Ice Skating. No refund will be provided for the ticket cost if Participant’s participation has been ceased or refused due to a breach of this Ice Skating Waiver. 
  1. ASSIGNMENT. Participant acknowledges and agrees that Romulus may assign the rights granted to it to any third party as it sees fit. 
  1. VALIDITY.  If any provision of this Ice Skating Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions shall nevertheless continue to be valid and enforceable. This Ice Skating Waiver supersedes any oral or written statements made by or to Participant in connection with the Ice Skating. Participant confirms that Participant cannot terminate, cancel, or revoke this Ice Skating Waiver for any reason. 
  1. DATA PROTECTION. For the purposes of this Ice Skating Waiver, the data controller is Romulus. By participating in the Ice Skating, you will provide Romulus with certain personal data, contact details and personal details associated with the Ice Skating. You understand and acknowledge that by providing your personal data, you give consent for Romulus to process such personal data for the purposes of delivering the Ice Skating. Romulus shall process your personal data at all times in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at: Privacy Policy | Wimbledon Quarter. Romulus may share your personal data with third parties to process the data on Romulus’s behalf. When using third parties to process data, Romulus will require the third parties to implement appropriate measures to protect your personal data.   
  2. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION. This Ice Skating Waiver and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Ice Skating Waiver or its subject matter or formation.
