AFC Wimbledon Season Launch Event
Save the date for an exciting event ahead of the new football season, celebrating Wimbledon’s very own football club! Join us on Sunday, 4th August from 11 am to 2 pm at Wimbledon Quarter for a fantastic Season Launch Event with AFC Wimbledon.
Event Highlights:
- Meet the Players: Dons supporters can meet first-team players from both men’s and women’s squads.
- Special Guests: Enjoy appearances by Haydon the Womble and his close friend, Wandle the Womble.
- Community Showcases: Visit stalls from the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, Wimbledon in Sporting History, and the Dons Local Action Group to learn about the incredible community work carried out by staff and volunteers.
- New Merchandise: Check out the latest items from the new Umbro range, available from our retail team.
Schedule:
- 11:00am: All stalls open, including the Foundation’s inflatable shoot-out.
- 11:00am – 12:00 noon: Interviews and chats with players and staff from AFC Wimbledon Women, with the title-winning trophy on display for photo opportunities.
- 12:00 noon: Men’s first-team players interviewed, with opportunities for photos and autographs.
- 1:00pm onwards: Stalls remain open until the event concludes at 2 pm.
