Wimbledon Quarter Sponsors the 2024 Merton Best Business Awards

After a successful sponsorship of the Merton Best Business Awards in 2023, we are sponsoring the awards again this year, celebrating the wonderful talent the town has to offer.

The Merton Best Business Awards are hosted by the Merton Chamber of Commerce and aim to celebrate commercial success throughout the borough.

They have a range of award categories suited for any successful business, from large businesses with over 250 employees through to thriving entrepreneurial businesses and promising start-ups and have been rewarding the innovators, the success stories and the entrepreneurs of the borough since 2013.

The 2024 Awards were launched last month with an event at local restaurant Bombay Delight and the Award Ceremony will be celebrated on Thursday 19th September 2024.

Wimbledon Quarter is a proud sponsor of the event again this year, alongside other Wimbledon-based enterprises such as Love Wimbledon, New Wimbledon Theatre and AFC Wimbledon.

Award categories include Best New Business (won by Quarter resident, The Golf Groove, last year), Sports and Fitness Business of the Year (sponsored by Merton Council as part of their Borough of Sport initiative), Enterprising Business Award and more. Coworking brand Huddle, due to launch in Wimbledon Quarter later this year, are sponsoring the Freelancer of the Year Award in collaboration with Wimbledon Quarter’s event sponsorship.

Applications to win an award are open with a deadline date of midnight on Friday 14th June 2024. Whether a homebased business or a small, medium or large employer, enter for the chance to win an award, maximise visibility of your brand, boost employee morale, attract new talent and receive borough-wide recognition of your success.

Entry rules can be found on their website and the event organisers have offered application support in the form of short video calls to help any business wishing to apply.
