Wimbledon Quarter’s Summer Fête Brings the Community Together

The Quarter came alive with fun, colour, and community spirit this weekend as we welcomed hundreds of families to our end of the holidays Summer Fête.

From 11am when our doors opened, visitors were treated to the sights and sounds of a traditional fairground – with a carousel, swing boats, and a bouncy castle bringing joy to children of all ages. Families gathered on the mall to enjoy giant games, face painting, and arts & crafts, while the scent of freshly made popcorn and ice cream filled the air.

The day was a celebration of everything Wimbledon Quarter stands for: a welcoming, community-driven destination where there’s something for everyone. Local families, shoppers, and visitors alike came together to enjoy a programme of free entertainment that made the Quarter the perfect spot for a summer’s day out.

We were delighted to see so many happy faces and hear such positive feedback from those who joined us. Events like these not only bring our neighbourhood together but also highlight our commitment to creating a vibrant mixed-use hub at the heart of SW19.
